Police incident, Rochedale South

Police are currently at the scene of an incident that occurred at Rochdale South this morning where a man sustained gun-shot wounds.

Initial investigations indicate that around 8.30am, police responded to an incident involving a man on Priestdale Road.

As a result of the occurrence police fired shots at the man, wounding him.

The man has been transported to hospital by Queensland Ambulance Service in a critical condition.

There is no further information available at this stage. Police investigations continue.
