U.S. News Ranking: Simsbury High School Rated Among Nation's Top 500

U.S. News & World Report released its high school rankings Tuesday.

SIMSBURY, CT - In a just-released report, U.S. News & World Report concluded that 25 Connecticut public high schools are among the nation’s top 1,000.

Simsbury High School ranked No. 9 for best public high schools in Connecticut and 437th best nationwide, according to the report.

Simsbury has a 97 percent graduation rate, a student-teacher ratio of 13:1 and a college readiness index score of 57.9. A college readiness score pertains to students' performance on standardized tests; to view an in-depth report on how Simsbury High School students did, click here.

There are 1,512 students at the school and 114 full-time teachers.
