Assault charges, Warwick

Police have charged two men following the serious assault of 31-year-old man in Warwick early yesterday morning.

It will be alleged, around 1.30am two men entered a house on McEvoy Street and assaulted a male occupier with blunt objects.

The 31-year-old man sustained injuries to his back, head and arm and was taken to the Warwick Base Hospital for treatment.

A 32-year-old Warwick man has been charged with two counts of assault occasioning bodily harm and one count of enter dwelling with intent.

A 23-year-old Warwick man has been charged with one count of assault occasioning bodily harm and one count of enter dwelling with intent.

Both men are scheduled to appear before the Warwick Magistrates Court today.
