As many of you know, Fred Korematsu Speaks Up is a middle grade biography that Stan Yogi and I co-wrote, focusing on Fred Korematsu who fought Japanese incarceration during WWII through the courts. As part of the campaign for this title, our publisher Heyday Books is hosting a drive for people to purchase a copy of the book for under-resourced school and public libraries. We will send out a big blast to our networks to buy and donate a book to a library of their choice.
