Sharon Kornstein - Immediate Past President

Sharon Kornstein, AICI, CIP founder and president of ImageDesign has an undergraduate degree in business from the Wharton School and brings four years of corporate Wall Street experience and twelve years of fashion related experience to ImageDesign. Sharon studied image consulting at Fashion Institute of Technology and earned an advanced degree in image management from the London Image Institute. Sharon is known for developing an effective visual image for professionally minded men and women by blending their physical characteristics, personal preferences and industry requirements into a unique, comfortable and cohesive style. She has given presentations at Novartis, Merrill Lynch, Cablevision and Eisner Amper and speaks extensively to college students on dressing for interviews, dining etiquette and nonverbal communications.   

Dara Lamb --Treasurer

Dara Lamb is the country’s leading designer of women’s custom clothing. With over thirty years’ experience, she is recognized by peers as the “best in the business”.Her namesake company, DARA LAMB, offers women The Finest Hand-Tailored Custom and Made-to-Measure garments, individually created to convey their signature style in every situation and occasion. Every garment is made one at a time, in her New York Studio, with heritage bespoke tailoring techniques and workmanship insuring the finest quality, a holistic relationship between craftsperson and client and continuing investment in the local community. Dara is the first woman tailor elected to the board of The Custom Tailors and Designers Association. She's a recipient of the 2017 Woman of Distinction award by the New York State Assembly and has been featured in Business Week, New York TImes, Wall Street Journal, Huffington Post and other media outlets.

Christina Austin is the founder of ExecBrands, an executive branding and image consulting firm. As a leading authority on personal branding, she is often called upon as a trusted advisor to business leaders and public figures. She has also been quoted by media outlets such as Fast Company and Monster.com in regards to careers and professional image. Prior to founding ExecBrands, Christina was a marketing executive in the corporate world. She has driven successful marketing campaigns for Fortune 50 brands and world-class companies. During her tenure at top marketing firm, IMG, she is well known in the sports and entertainment industry for developing the personal brands of celebrities, athletes, entertainers and supermodels. She has her MBA from University of California, Los Angeles and Certified Image Consultant (CIC) designation from the Fashion Stylist Institute.

Margo Hasen - VP Education

Margo Hasen has had a lifelong passion for the applied arts and design— clothing, jewelry, accessories and textiles. She began her pursuit in retail: working for large jewelry retailers, small artisan galleries before establishing her own boutique. Twenty years ago she started a new journey, founding a style and wardrobe consulting company, The Style Strategist. She believes that active, professional women need a plan, a formula, a strategy to cultivate their personal style and wardrobe. Margo guides her clients in developing their unique personal style profile with the aim of keeping them focused and open to new possibilities. Margo has a certificate in Fashion and Image Consulting from the Parson’s School of Design and is a certified professional member of the Association of Image Consultants International (AICI). 

Lisa Shorr -- VP Communications & Marketing

Lisa Shorr has spent over two decades in the sales and marketing arena. She owns two businesses, Shorr Success and Secure Future Tech Solutions, and has delivered Professional Development and Corporate Branding workshops and seminars across the country. Her articles on style, career development and IT, have been published in notable magazines and newspapers including PC World, Providence Business News, GoLocalProv, Rhode Island Small Business Journal and Trade Secrets Magazine. This is Lisa's second term serving on the Board. Lisa has a BA degree in Marketing from Bridgewater State University and is certified in advanced image consulting and professional development from London Image Institute.
