My Name is Thomas Waters i am 25 years old
My home Was set on fire monday July 11, 2016. There is a investergation in progress. But mean while Red cross did place me in a hotel which won't last long enough to for me to get another place. I lost just about everything I have tried washing clothes the smell and black smut just won't go away. I worked hard to build everything I did on my own for the first time in my life. I moved to Columbia sc December 22nd after leaving a unhealthy 8 year relationship/Marriage. worked since moving here and it took me about 6 months to save and get everything ready to be able to rent my own place it was hard but I was determined to do it and do it on my own . I rented a place in west Columbia on June 18th I was super excited worked hard and got the home furnished and no it wasn't new or fancy but it was Home ! And I loved it. Till July 11th 2016 around 11:25pm when myself and a friend of mine was sitting in the livingroom and relized the trailer was on fire I tried to put it out but the fire grew to fast. And less then 2 hours later I was able to enter the home again and just that fast I Iost everything I had worked so hard for and my home was destroyed I am not the type of person to ask anyone for help normally But I've never been thur anything like this.I have always been that person helping people . So with that being said Any donations will go to me getting a new place to call home and to replace clothing and things for the home. And if you can't help at this time I 100% understand just please keep me In yalls prayers. I don't wish this on anyone ever. And I wanna give a big thanks to everyone whos contacted me and expecially for The Columbia South Carolina Red cross.
