Police are investigating after a man armed with a knife attempted to rob a pharmacy at Ascot this afternoon.
Around 2.30pm a man entered the Racecourse Road business threatening a male employee and demanding money. The employee refused and the men fled empty handed.
The man, who had his head and face covered by a grey shirt, is described as approximately 180cms tall with a slim build and was wearing a white shirt, dark coloured pants.
No one was physically injured and police investigations are continuing.
