We are constantly getting exposed to foods which are adulterated in one way or another. From adding artificial dyes (eg green colour in ladyfingers) to ripening agents (eg calcium carbide in mangoes).

The incidence of cancer and various others diseases linked to adultrated food has gone up.

Every year there are raids and a few trucks are caught with adultrated food but nothing concrete happens

We need to wake up and stop rampant adulteration for the sake of our health. We need stronger laws against these people who expose the public to dangerous chemicals just so that they can make an extra buck.
