DAY IN THE LIFE OF A PSYCHIC MEDIUM...
I love to share my stories of how I experience random people being touched by the angels when I am out and about. All I am is a messenger. A conduit of energy, messages & healing.
So the other day I walked past a kiosk I had never noticed before, but as I turned my head it just happened that an item that was on my shopping list was right there catching my attention. I know now that moment was a kind of magnetic resonance where I get drawn to a particular place or person.
As I was chatting with the sales person, I start feeling the energy. Waves of sadness & emotional energy emanating around them. Often, I feel the energy on a particular side of the person. The energy is so palpable that it is hard for me to ignore. I immediately enter that 'state'.
I take a breath and prepare to look like a looney tune woman who just escaped the nearest asylum. This is the quandary I am often in. But, as usual, I trust in my instincts, bite my lip and mention that I can feel energy around them, and something along the lines of:
"Are you open to this sort of thing?"
Thank God she was (lol). She said one of her colleagues is naturally psychic and often talks about stuff she feels from walkers by in the mall (usually negative energy, lol - boy do I know all about that)... . I let out another sigh of relief. Thank you angels. I also feel I must talk to this other person at some point...
Anyway, as I start to describe the energy I am feeling & deliver personal messages, the angels are wanting to send her some angel healing. You need to just picture this. There I am, standing in the middle of a busy mall, with people everywhere, waving my hands around, directing streams of energy towards her and looking in the air (which is my natural tendency when being in that kind of semi trance state connecting to the spirit realms)...
I look to the side for a moment and notice that two Japanese girls working in a funky clothing store are staring blankly at me, hoping that I don't enter their shop, I am sure - because to the regular person, I look like I have just escaped the looney bin.
We have a laugh about it and I continue to exude outer seeming insanity, trusting fully in the angels, who always lead me to these situations. Now that I think of it, perhaps I need a reward for bravery. I think its been enough just being a psychic empath earth angel all my life, but, as usual, there is always more, and I am ready for it at any moment.
I am delighted when the person I am sending the energy to is feeling it. She is experiencing the lightness, huge relief & lifting off of emotional & mental burdens, all that toxic energy having now left. She is experiencing true healing, angelic intervention, & an expansive, clear feeling of peace. I explain to her that this is the energy that my clients will always feel at the end of my sessions. This is the miraculous way that the angels work.
When a client first comes to me, I will feel all the icky energy: emotions & mental turmoil they are carrying with them. Sometimes I will feel it as a rock or mass of dark, heavy energy. As I work to rid of it, the transformation starts to take place.
If you are reading this and have had a personal session with me, then you will know exactly what I am talking about. It's quite empowering, palpable & I guess you could say 'supernatural', and it is all happening outside of me. I just allow the energy to flow & the spiritual experience to unfold.

Month of Love & Unity:
Romantic love really shines through for February, which happens to be very synchronistically timed with Valentine's Day.
So this means romantic stirrings in your heart & what you have been wanting & desiring in terms of love, intimacy & relationships. There is a unity, comrpomise, love, harmony, home, family & bridging together of both/all of you in the relationship(s).
For singles, this is a great time to attract a partner or friendship, or at least really believe that you can - so focus your energy positively on attracting your desired soul mate. perhaps even your twin flame.
Partnerships:
This is energetically a great month for partnerships of any kind, so you might find yourself more in sync with your love or business partner. This can also mean working more in partnership & alignment with your Higher Self.
Heightened Intuition:
Speaking of your Higher Self, this month will hold the energy of an increased intuition, and it will be important to go within and connect with your soul - that higher, Divine part of you that has been calling your name & wanting to reach your inner depths. It could also be your twin soul guiding you from the other side. Trust in any flashes of psychic impressions that come to you.
Creative Feminine Expression:
Communication through the throat chakra and third eye. Trust in any visions you have through your intuition, and express your Divine self & feminine, Goddess energy.
Embrace your nurturing qualities.
Balance, Patience & Soul's Calling for Freedom:
Make sure you seek & maintain balance & also have patience - it will be rewarded. You have the power to manifest your desires, but you must be both patient & brave... (and listen carefully to these words, noticing your bodily reactions): ... "as you seek the freedom that is calling you, calling your soul. But you must let go of anything that is limiting your sense of joy & flow in life."

CHINESE 2016 ANIMAL ENERGY

Red Fire Monkey
This year is a Monkey year according to the Chinese zodiac. To be precise, it is the year of the red fire monkey, starting on February 8th, on the second new moon after the Solstice we had in December.
Every year one of the five elements is applied to the Chinese animal of the year. This year it is fire, which represents strength, dynamism, passion, joy and creativity. It also means overcoming obstacles and illnesses.
Red might mean stop on a traffic light, but it signifies the opposite in Chinese astrology. The ‘go’ energy of red mixed with the intense fire element signifies an extremely fiery year ahead. Look forward to unleashing your wild monkey side, taking risks and being daring!
The Number 9
It is really interesting to note that monkey is the 9 th animal of the Chinese zodiac, out of 12. 9 is also the numerological year for 2016 (as I spoke about in my January newsletter, click here to read that article).
This means that you can really expect that 9 energy to be amplified! As this year will bring up a lot of karma and closing off energy, make sure that you do not stay stuck analyzing the past too much – put your energy into preparing to start a new path. So plan for change and hit that ‘refresh’ button!
Paving New Paths Creatively
This year, anything can happen and with the wind element associated with the monkey, coupled with the moving 9 energy, things will be changing quickly. We will be in a constant state of flux and volatility – an environment in which the mercurial monkey thrives!
Monkeys tend to start things and not finish them (much like the star sign of Aries), so be aware this year, under the influence of 9, that you rid of or complete outstanding items in all spheres of your life.
Monkeys are sharp at creating new paths and dabbling in risk and innovation because they are highly intelligent, strong-willed, super motivated, courageous and inventive. They make excellent forward thinking individuals and problem solvers. Mix that with monkey’s high energy and enthusiastic outlook, and be prepared for anything to come your way, including positive rewards and opportunities.
So go on, move forward and make strides – individual effort (over group work) will be renumerated.
Tame that Monkey Mind
We have all heard of the ‘monkey mind’, that is something that I am trying to teach people to calm down all the time. Scientists say that we think over 60,000 thoughts a day! In this uber techno world, our minds are going crazy – it’s a jungle in there!
Monkeys are very busy and energetic indeed and will nimbly jump from tree to tree, chopping and changing and flitting around, moving from one activity to another. So just be sure you don’t jump ahead of yourself and think twice before you leap!
Your challenge this year is to try to calm, quiet and ease that rampant mind. Meditation, mindful being-ness, spiritual practice. Tame that hectic mental energy with some chilled out zen and make sure you get healthy doses of good food, fresh air and exercise. Physical activity will help liberate your energy and turn it into positive focus rather than stress, mahem and chaos.
Youth, Joy & Curiosity
Monkeys are nimble, curious, fun, witty, humorous and youthful. They know how to fearlessly express themselves and tap into joy and creativity with their sparkly, entertaining energy and personalities. It's a sign for us to let our hair down, take things more lightly and enjoy life more.
The Shadow Side of the Monkey: Beware the Cheeky Trickster
Everyone knows that monkeys are wily, mischievous, rebellious creatures and they have a bit of a reputation for being tricky and cunning manipulators. This is where their problem solving skills metamorphose into sly opportunism.
So be on the alert this year for any traces of unscrupulous or sneaky behavior and deception. Don’t be gullible and careful who you trust. In China they say that monkeys will take all the peanuts and leave you only shells!
Optimistic Business Outlook
A positive, lively, fast-paced year for business and finance. It is a year for flourishing opportunities and successful risk taking and leadership. Think outside the box, be alternative, unconventional, dare to be different and you will progress. So go on – take a risk, go with your ideas, or moreover a quantum leap, create change, shake things up and be innovative. whatever you do, do not look back. New endeavors are likely to succeed.
Look to this year financially as optimistic and progressive. This includes the real estate markets. Be smart in your endeavors and be on top of the game – you need to outsmart the shrewd monkey to come n top.
It’s a particularly favorable and fortunate year for all those whose animal sign is the monkey, rat, dragon or snake. And if you are a monkey yourself, then you will relate to a lot of the qualities I've mentioned.

SOUL Level Relationships & Friendships
“People come into your life for a reason, a season or a lifetime.”
Those really are words that speak of truth. The nature of our human reality is that every person we meet or know is there for a reason. Some stay a fleeting moment, others for a while, and yet others for a life time. But one way or another, there is always a reason for knowing the person. They bring something to our lives, or bring something up, and there is often, if not always a purpose or a lesson.
Just like certain experiences are outlined in our soul contract before incarnating, so too are the appearance and influence of certain people. So quite literally, meeting & having experiences with certain people is written in the stars! Some of our family members, friends and others are a part of our 'soul group' - eternal beings connected to your soul that you reincarnate with over and over, each time playing different roles.
Other people who are not members of your soul group can be contracted to come into your life too. Some people say that it is every person you meet or encounter, even ones you walk by in the street - I shall leave that up to you to ponder.
The more you know someone or the greater they have impacted your life, the more they shape you as a person, some even having the power to influence your soul's evolution. Karma plays a huge role and is something that you cannot escape from - you can run from it, but you can't hide. it will find you!
Karma influences which people are in your lives or that turn up at certain times. You come together in order to balance karma accrued from previous lifetimes. The reason for your interactions is to deal with unfinished business. This means that certain people in your life give you the opportunity to earn brownie points and step up the ladder of your souls evolution.
People that come into your life for a reason or a season, if not related to karma or a life lesson, is often something like to offer your guidance and support when you need it. They enter a certain time period or phase in your life. Perhaps there is something that either of you need in your life, and one or both of you can provide it.
No matter how you look at it, coming together gives you an opportunity to share, learn and grow.
Relationships that last a lifetime, which could include family, friends or partners, more profoundly act as a platform in which to learn lessons on a grander scale. If you wish to advance in the journey of your soul's growth, then it is important to recognize the lessons and gifts in your relationships no matter how long or fleeting, accept them, process old emotions, forgive, and be willing to accept, let go with love and move on.
Holding on to bitter or toxic thoughts and emotions and past events only creates more drama and sometimes even new lessons to learn or karma to deal with. Face relationships honestly and take an inventory of the people in your lives and anything you need to work through. Your soul will be glad you did so that you can encounter more positive and enriching experiences in the future.
