Letter from Gary & Barb
Welcome to our Coaching UP! e-newsletter where
we encourage and coach you UP in your marriage
and relationships!
Greetings friends!
It's hard to believe that May is already here! With spring in full swing (although we are still missing the warm temperatures in the Midwest!) schools will soon be closing their doors for the summer and family schedules will change once again. With summer on the horizon, it's time to start thinking about the activities you want to do as a family!
Summer vacation provides a great opportunity for intentional family connection. It's the perfect time to plan inexpensive outings like spending time outdoors at the park or going on a bike ride. Make the outing extra special with a treat like capping it off with ice cream. Have some fun this summer, reserve specific nights on your family calendar and let your kids plan some of your outings! What memories do you want to make sure you create with your family this summer? Or do you have some great ideas of inexpensive ways to take a family vacation? Share your ideas with us on our Facebook page!
This month brings a special opportunity to celebrate and honor a very special member of your family -- it's Mother's Day this weekend! Mothers are the lifeblood of a family, providing the care, nurture, love and support for both their spouse and for their children. With such a special role also comes a lot of responsibility. This upcoming Sunday, we encourage you to make it a Mother's Day to remember with a "mom's day off" where you pamper your mom and give her a little break. Show her how much you love her and how important she is to the family by planning some special activities! Have your children get involved to come up with fun ideas that you know will make her day very special. Check out the article below on honoring mothers and learn more about Barb's passion of a A Woman's Legacy. If you are a mom, thank you for all that you do and for loving and serving your family so well! Happy Mother's Day!
We have exciting news to share...this month we are introducing Ask The Rosbergs! If you had a chance to sit with us and talk about your marriage, what would you ask? Well we want to hear your questions and will personally answer them so send us yours today! Answers to your questions may be featured on a future program of Ask the Rosbergs on OnePlace, so make sure you listen in to get marriage coaching. Visit our website to submit a question or send us a private message on our Facebook page.
For those of you that didn't hear the news last month, we now coach executive couples under The Rosberg Group, through which we also do platform speaking at events and executive getaways for small groups of couples. In addition to expanding our coaching practice, we are also gearing up to release a new video series to you, as well as new mobile content and resources. Stay up to date on the latest developments by following us on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram!
Enjoy this month of spring weather and the end of the school year activities! In the busyness of this month, challenge yourself to be intentional and spend some quality time with your family. These memories will last forever!
Guard your hearts,
Gary & Barb Rosberg
