is hosting the
2014 Teacher Appreciation Luncheon
Wednesday, May 7
Seguin Events Complex/Coliseum
Social Time - 11:30 a.m.
Program & Lunch - Noon
Entertainment provided by area students
You can show YOUR appreciation to our teachers by:
- Placing an ad on KWED
- Placing an ad in the Seguin Gazette or the Seguin Daily News
- Write a letter to the editor
- A church bulletin/newsletter thank you
- Display encouraging words on your marquees, ex. "Thank You Seguin AreaTeachers!"
- Encourage your employees to celebrate their child's teachers
- Providing Teacher Appreciation Day discounts
- Providing foods and/or gifts to the school of your choice
- Give simple gifts to teachers throughout the week
- Recognize spouses of employees, such as "She/He's so "special" His/Her Wife/Husband is a Teacher!!!"
- Coupons to take to their spouse/teacher
- Bulletin board announcements
Let's not forget that our schools are a very large part of our community and through their work, teachers provide an immeasurable service to the community.
Contact the Chamber with your ideas and plans for celebrating Teacher Appreciation Week so that we might spread the word to the other Chamber members.
