Serious assault, Wolvi

A 27-year-old woman was airlifted to the Gold Coast Hospital around 3.30pm yesterday after reports of a serious assault at a Wolvi residence.

Police attended a Beenham Valley Road address and began investigations.

A number of people known to the victim are assisting police with their inquiries.

There is no further information at this time.
