Springfield Colour Run – 2014

Congratulations to you and your team Woody!

The Inaugural Springfield Colour Run was held over the most recent weekend. Over 14,000 “happy runners” resulted in a fantastic event that was well organised by Woody and his team.

Police also attended and became involved in the spirit of the event with some participants more worried about photos with their local boys in blue than a PB.

My information is that this won’t be the last Colour Run hosted at Springfield. Discussions are being held in relation to the parking issues related to this event and a number of options will be considered including further encouragement of public transport and local parking options.
