Join the conversation at North Shore 'town hall' meeting Thursday evening, with complimentary drinks and appetizers

STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. -- The North Shore Business Association is inviting everyone to its "Revitalize Your Neighborhood" town hall meeting, starting 7 p.m. Thursday, at Edgewater Hall, 691 Bay St. in Stapleton.

Complimentary drinks and hors d'oeuvres are an added enticement.

The agenda will include discussion of the popular North Shore Restaurant Crawl, and an update about the North Shore Safe Haven Project.

The Safe Haven Project is an initiative -- in partnership with the 120th Precinct and Councilwoman Debi Rose -- envisioned to include employment of neighborhood security guards.

Scheduled guest speakers at the event include State Sen. Diane Savino and Travis Noyes, chief marketing officer for the New York Wheel, who recently joined the board of directors of Snug Harbor Cultural Center and Botanical Garden.

Joining them will be Lyle Foxman of Start Up Staten Island; Dominick Ciccarelli of Think Design Architecture, and George Christo of Door to Door Realty.
