On 29th October 2014, a Florida citizen whose name is William Lewis broke the biggest record of the most expensive drink ever ordered at the coffee giant in the year 2014 with one hundred-one shots of latte that covers ninety-nine extra shots of espresso and seventeen extra whacks of the vanilla syrup, mocha, and match powder which cost him 83.75 US dollars. And the excellent thing for William Lewis was that he did not pay for the coffee.

Although he was also a member of Starbucks’ loyalty program, because of his heaping, one sixty-ounce cup o’ joe was on the house. William Lewis also comes in one of the few five thousand people in the world who have Starbucks’ Limited Edition Metal Card, which is made of stainless steel.

To achieve this mark, William Lewis, who is a political consultant and talk show host, chooses to bring his mug to make the record-breaking, 7,500 milligrams of caffeine. The last record of the giant coffee was made by Sameera Raziuddin, who lifted this record previously with her giant 57.75 US dollars custom Frappuccino. Raziuddin who also lives in Florida like William Lewis, has also brought her coffee cup with a 1.5 gallon container with a spigot for the sixty shot of espresso drink.

Starbucks’ Reaction to this Record-Breaking Coffee.

The Starbucks of course, was not exactly happy about serving that giant latte. After that record one of the Starbucks spokesperson whose name is Linda Mills said that ‘the policy for the chain, the major part of whose U.S. stores are company owned, is that its hot drink which can not be served larger than a twenty-ounce Venti size. And William Lewis coffee is naturally against our policy’, Starbucks spoke person Linda Mills further said that ‘drinking that much coffee, we would not recommend this’.
