Like most of you with children, you’re probably always on the lookout for new and interesting apps for your children to keep them busy. Whether it be educational games or just games that are plain fun and mindless, it’s no denying that kids just love apps, regardless of their age or gender. There are some developers out there who make nothing but children’s apps and they do it very well. One such developer is Sago Sago. I’ve looked at several of their apps in the past and they’ve been very good for children. The latest app I’m looking at is Sago Mini Monsters. This too is an app for young children that allows them to create and then interact with their monster creations.

Like all Sago Mini games, Monsters is incredibly simple for children to play with. You start off with a random head shape that kids will be able to decorate using a small variety of colors. Once they do this, the app will automatically add some random eyes, a mouth, and horns. Kids will however be able to change these by pulling them off and a new one will appear that is different.

Activities in the game include feeding your monster different foods, decorating them with stickers, and also brushing their teeth. When all of that is complete, they have the option of taking a photo of their monster and then starting the process all over again.

Sago Mini Monsters isn’t a very deep game at all though, but it’s perfect for small children. My 3 year old loves the app and will sit there designing and playing with her monster. As adults, we may think the app is too simple with not enough to do, but children seem really enjoy it despite this. The app is free too at the moment so it would be a good idea to at least try it out.
