Stolen Bobcat, Springfield

Police are investigating the theft of a Bobcat stolen from a construction site on Southern Cross Way at Springfield overnight.

The machinery stolen was a Terex PT80 Possie Track (pictured) and is believed to be valued in excess of $250,000.

The Bobcat is fitted with a unique and distinctive piece of equipment.

Detectives from the Ipswich Criminal Investigation Branch are appealing to members of the public who may have noticed a vehicle or any suspicious behaviour near this construction site to contact Crime Stoppers.
