Former host of Built for Comfort Kirk returns to Sunday afternoons with Son of BFC!
To oversimplify, the Son of BFC radio show is a two hours of pain free music every Sunday from 3-5pm on WRFR. In truth, Son of BFC is a diverse array of toe-bangin’, head tappin’ tunes sprinkled with a fine mix of stories, news and much, much more. AIO Food and Energy Assistance will host its fourth Fill the Strand food and funds drive to benefit AIO’s Food Assistance, Energy Assistance, Weekend Meal and Diaper Assistance programs. This event challenges the community to fill every seat in the historic theater with bags of food and funds for AIO’s programs. Ron Staschak interviewed Emily Mecklenburg four years ago about her bicycle and outdoor experiences. Emily is the young woman who was killed on October 9th in a boating accident. The interview will be rebroadcast Wednesday, October 18th at 7 a.m. during Ron’s new show "And that's all I have to say about that."
