We've seen uncovered spy shots of the 2015 Chrysler 200, but here it is, the real deal, the main event, the front end. And it looks surprisingly good. We've also got full details on the new car.

The 200, which dropped six days ahead of time, is far sleeker than its predecessor and lacks the bling of its father as well. That means this might be the sportier S trim.

According to Chrysler's release, which they accidentally published, the 200 has a nine speed auto that you shift with a rotary knob (as seen in this interior shot) and will be available with "innovative all-wheel drive" that is the first to provide a disconnecting rear axle – a la the Cherokee it shares a platform with.

The standard engine is the 2.4 liter Tiger Shark with 184 horsepower and 173 pound feet of torque while the 3.6 liter, 295 horsepower Pentastar V6 is an option. It will be built in Michigan, which makes the 200 one of the fruits of Chrysler's $1 billion investment in Sterling Heights.

Chrysler says the design shows off the new face of the brand, that the interior is beautifully appointed, and they expect that it will even get 35 MPG on the highway. It seems like this might be a fresh start and a car that you won't be embarrassed to be seen in.

Pricing will start at $21,700 when it goes on sale later this year.

I'll let Chrysler take it from here:
