Drug charges, Redbank Plains

A 19-year-old Redbank Plains man has been charged with drug offences following an incident yesterday afternoon in Walter William Crescent.

Police were called to the street about 5.30pm yesterday afternoon following an alleged disturbance between two men and a number of other people.

It will be further alleged that following a search of the 19-year-old man’s residence a quantity of cannabis including a plant and seeds were located.

The 19-year-old man was charged with two counts of possessing dangerous drugs and one count each of producing a dangerous drug and possessing a drug utensil.

The man is due to appear in the Ipswich Magistrates Court on October 15.
