The Bible Bee competition is on November 13th. Kids should be studying hard!!
Children in the Primary Division should have learned at least the first 4 scriptures.
Children in the Junior Division should have learned at least the first 8 scriptures.
Children in the Senior Division should have learned at least the first 12 scriptures.
Tips for parents to help their children with the Bible Bee
1. Read the scripture to them and have them repeat after you.
2. Read the scripture out loud. Record them and play it back.
3. Have them copy the verses and the reference several times.
4. Add rhythm, movements or gestures to the words.
Confidence is Key
Parents, build your children's confidence in their ability to memorize scripture.
Remind them that the Lord will help them if they make a genuine effort.
This is worth every minute. It is a lifelong skill that will serve them well for years to come.
Their brains are sponges and THEY CAN DO IT!!!
