The Carthage College women's lacrosse team (5-4, 0-0 College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin) ended a two-game trip to Colorado Springs, Colo., on Friday, March 27 with an 18-3 loss to the University of Redlands (7-3) at Colorado College's Washburn Field. The Lady Reds opened the trip on Thursday, March 26 with a 15-1 loss to Colorado College (5-6) at Stewart Field.
Redlands led, 11-3, at halftime, and the Bulldogs out-scored the Lady Reds, 7-0, in the second period. Stephanie Garrett led Redlands with five goals, while McKenna Tychsen added three goals and two assists.
Madison Griffin (So., Parker, Colo./Ponderosa) scored two of Carthage's three goals.
Carthage travels to Aurora, Ill., on Sunday, March 29 to play Muskingum College in a 1 p.m. game at Aurora University's Vago Field.
