A simple solar system, developed out of curved glass and built by Swedish company "SolTech," has garnered praise and awards for its simplicity, functionality and efficiency.

By merging beautiful design with a strong glass (as strong as clay), the company has set up a system of tiles that catch sunlight and heat a black canvass underneath, heating air pockets and circulating hot air to hot water, which is dispersed throughout the house.

Multiple systems have been designed by SolTech, aimed at heating air and water.  The simplest version on the market connects their thermal systems to a water borne heating system via an accumulation tank and can connect solar cells to an Inverter to generate 230V AC.

The SolTech system can generate about 350 kWh heat per square meter of roof.
