Ultron, the villain of the upcoming Marvel/Disney collaboration, The Avengers: Age of Ultron, has taken the world by storm, with the trailer released on YouTube now at over 34 million views globally. The delightfully dastardly Ultron is played by James Spader, and judging by the amounts of views the teaser trailer from the movie has gotten so far, it is safe to say that this flick will be a huge blockbuster when it hits the theaters in May 2015. It has gone beyond viral — it is a mega-viral smash hit. The video trailer is below!

It is perhaps not surprising that the video teaser trailer is racking up such an impressively stellar numbers of views, as superhero movies, in general, do great at the box office. Still, there were some naysayers who thought that Spader might not be the best choice to voice the robot, Ultron. They have been, arguably, proven wrong The teaser trailer, alone, at just a little bit over 2 minutes, should serve as convincing proof and convince them of the error of their ways.

The Avengers are on the run, and appear close to losing the battle for humanity and Earth in the Ultron trailer. All of them are back in the upcoming flick, like Hawkeye, Captain America, Thor, Hulk, the Scarlet Witch, and Iron Man. The combined efforts of the Avengers do not seem equal to the task of their latest challenge, defeating the robot, Ultron.

SPOILER ALERT (Maybe): What would happen if Jarvis started evolving and became evil and somehow got a hold of one of Tony Stark’s Iron Man outfits and redesigned it for its own purposes? That could not happen in a million years, though — or, could it?

Joss Whedon is back to direct this spectacular sequel. Besides James Spader as Ultron, the movie stars actors such as Chris Evans, Paul Bettany, Mark Ruffalo, Cobie Smulders, Samuel L Jackson, Scarlett Johansson, Robert Downey Jr, Elizabeth Olsen, Chris Hemsworth, Jeremy Renner, and Aaron Taylor-Johnson.

As most fans of the Avengers movie franchise already know, after a raw, unfinished-looking video trailer of Age of Ultron was leaked on Wednesday, the good folks at Marvel decided to go ahead and post the official and much better-looking video trailer the studio planned to release during next Tuesday’s October 28 Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. episode.

Do not fear, fans of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. — another video trailer of the Ultron movie will be shown during the Tuesday episode, according to the Just Jared site and others. One idea about what the subject matter of it might be is that it will be the same footage shown at the San Diego Comic Con of a “party scene.”

How does the amount of views the Ultron teaser trailer receive compared with the views of other video trailers? Coming in at 23.14 million views in 24 hours was the past number one viewed movie trailer, one for Iron Man 3, according to information EW got from Disney. Other movies whose video trailers did extremely well include the 23.5 million views that Captain America: The Winter Soldier had in its first 24 hours and the 20.4 million views that the video trailer for the first Avengers flick received. Another one that did really well was the 22.8 million views in 24 hours that was tallied by Guardians of the Galaxy.

The Ultron teaser trailer certainly “teased” views from fans of the Avengers franchise, as the video trailer broke all previous records for being downloaded and watched in the first 24 hours of its release, coming in at reportedly over 34 million views globally. Please leave comments below!
