Some winning streaks start quietly.
John Carroll slipped by Oberlin last week, but gained a lot of momentum over the last two days. Less than 24 hours after crushing Hiram, the Blue Streaks travelled across town and motored past Baldwin Wallace, 195-73, in Berea.

Gabe Nock started things off with a victory in the 200 Medley Relay. Their time of 1:42.92 produced a winning margin of a half second.Â
Ben Parker followed with a win in the 100 free by a full seconds seconds over the field (10:46.20).
JCU then went to full throttle in a 1-2-3 sweep of the 200 free.
Brian Hulseman continued his stellar weekend with a winning swim of 1:49.52.
Stephen Attewell was next in 1:52.01, and
James Walleshauser was third in 2:01.43.
Bockanic continued the roll with a win in the 100 Back (57.40).
After a momentary setback in the 100 Breast, JCU put together another 1-2-3 sweep in the 200 Fly. Kehm touched first in 2:07.61, followed by
Jacob Crain (2:18.81) and
Anton Olson (2:22.91).
Nock took first in the 50 Free (22.69), as did Doug Hinchen in the 1-meter diving event (121.75 points).
John Scantling and Attewell went first and second in the 100 Free, posting times of 50.88 and 51.50, respectively.
Parker (200 Back), Hulseman (500 Free), Kehm (100 Fly) and Goggins (200 IM) closed out the meet with wins.
With their third consecutive win, the Blue Streaks improved to 5-4 overall and 2-2 in the OAC.
