What is Kizomba?
Kizomba is one of the most popular genres of dance and music created in Angola. Derived directly from Zouk music, sung generally in Portuguese, it is a genre of music with a romantic flow mixed with African rhythm. The kizomba dancing style is also very sensual.
The Bootcamp presents the best in the world of African and Afro Latin dance, more specifically, Kizomba & Semba!

ISSAMBA’s energetic and interactive performances invariably capture the imagination of its audiences, transporting them to the earthy and evocative world of African rhythm and dance.
- Recently, we opened the first and only one African Cultural Centre and a Hub for people of African Descent on Vancouver Island (BC)
- Virtual Conversation in order to minimize the impact of isolation due to COVID-19 confinement
