Billing itself as “the world’s largest technology conference,” the NAB Show takes over the Las Vegas Convention Center from April 14 to 19. This year’s theme is “The Great Content Shift: Defining Your Evolution” as participants, drawn from the 1,500 media and tech companies attending, focus on new forms of media consumption.
Chris McGurk: The Cinedigm chairman and CEO will focus on revenue opportunities in digital cinema during his keynote at NAB’s Technology Summit on Cinema, co-produced by the Society of Motion Picture and Television Engineers. (April 15 @ 1:45 p.m. Room S222, LVCC South Hall)
Gordon H. Smith: The NAB president and CEO — he just signed a five-year contract extension that runs through 2016 — will open the NAB Show by discussing the state of the broadcast industry while outlining NAB’s legislative and regulatory priorities.
