RICHARDSON, TEXAS — Junior Jenae Wolfram (Bosque Farms, N.M./Valencia HS) from the Eastern New Mexico University women's indoor track & field team has been recognized by the Lone Star Conference as the Women's Field Athlete of the Week, for her season-opening performance at the University of New Mexico Lobo Invitational.

With her selection, Wolfram is the first ENMU track &field athlete to receive weekly LSC accolades since Isaiah Samoei, last February. Wolfram is the first Zia to earn a weekly honor during the indoor season, with Kris-Ann Walters (Sr., Kingston, Jamaica / St. Jago HS/ Adams State) being the last to receive weekly outdoor field honors on May 1, 2013.

Wolfram opened the season with a record-breaking performance at the University of New Mexico Lobo Invitational. Her toss of 48-11.75 in the weight throw set a new ENMU mark and ranks first in the Lone Star Conference. Wolfram also had a strong showing in the shot put with a 19th-place finish.

The Eastern New Mexico University indoor track & field teams will travel to Lubbock, Texas, this weekend to compete in the Texas Tech Masked Rider Open.
