Drug charges for two Gold Coast Criminal Motorcycle Gang associates

Officers from the Gold Coast Major and Organised Crime Squad yesterday executed a search warrant at a Broadbeach apartment block, arresting three men of which two are believed to be Criminal Motorcycle Gang associates.

The execution of the search warrant followed information provided to police that the men were conducting illicit activities from the address.

As a result of the search, dangerous drugs including amphetamines and fantasy, drug utensils and cash were seized.

A 24-year-old Gold Coast man, who detectives will allege is an associate of the Bandidos Criminal Motorcycle Gang, has been issued with a notice to appear for the offences of possessing a dangerous drugs, possessing things used in the commission of a crime and possessing utensils.

A 34-year-old Gold Coast man, who detectives will allege is an associate of the Finks/Mongols Criminal Motorcycle Gang has been charged with two counts of possessing the dangerous drugs (ICE and Fantasy), possession of property suspected of being proceeds of crime and possession of utensils.

He is expected to appear before the Southport Magistrates Court on January 20, 2015

A 38-year-old man from Sydney has also been charged with two counts of possessing a dangerous drug (ICE and Fantasy), possession of property suspected of being proceeds of crime and possession of utensils.

He is expected to face the Southport Magistrates Court this morning.
