The pint-sized chef picks out red and pink heart-shaped cupcake liners for baking his Valentine's Day treats.

'Baking soda and baking powder are not the same thing. But they help you bake'

Setting out two bowls - one for dry and one for wet ingredients - he mixes everything together without making a mess, quite the talent for a four-year-old.

Petey adds all the dry ingredients to a big, silver mixing bowl while explaining his culinary method, bravely attempting to pronounce 'granulated sugar.'

As he mixes in the baking soda and baking powder, Petey offers a few words of wisdom: 'Baking soda and baking powder are not the same thing,' he explains. 'But they help you bake.'

To dye for: The recipe calls for red food coloring to get that delicious red velvet color

The toddler wears a serious expression as he concentrates on blending the heavy ingredients.

One highlight of the video is when the four-year-old adds just half a teaspoon of salt to the mix.

'People who eat too much salt can die, right?' he says.

Then things get colorful, and for the 'fun part,' Petey puts in the red food coloring.

He mixes it all up, a proud grin stretched across his face.

Fill the cupcake tins: Make sure to fill them only 2/3 full, 'because they rise a lot'

As the red food dye begins to alter the color of the mixture, he exclaims, 'It's turning pinker and pinker!'

With all the ingredients all added to the mixing bowl, it's time to add the chocolate chips.

The enthusiastic toddler exclaims: 'The night sky is coming down!' as he pours them in.

Petey advises his viewers to pour the batter into the cupcake tins, but to make sure to make them only two-thirds full, 'because they rise a lot.'

Petey

Put them in the oven: Bake the cupcakes for 20 minutes at 350 degrees Fahrenheit

Get sprinkly: When they have cooled, you can frost and decorate your scrumptious treats

'Will you be my Valentime?' asks Petey. How could anybody resist!

The video then shows Petey putting the filled tins in the oven, his own hand and the helping hand of a grown-up sharing a single oven mitt.

He lets the cupcakes bake for twenty minutes, then removes them from the oven.

Once they've cooled, Petey gets out frosting, sprinkles and raspberries to decorate his Valentine's Day batch.

And at the end of his informative video, the mini baking guru gives viewers a cheeky grin and asks: 'Will you be my Valentime?'

How could anybody resist.
