Family,

August is just around the corner and we have an exciting month of fun, at Mt. Zion and out and about, planned! 

On Saturday, August 2, Mt. Zion youth and children will have plenty to do at the Community Festival.  We need older children and teens to assist with beverage and popcorn sales.  Of course, we'll have our bounce house for the little ones to enjoy.

On Saturday, August 9, children of all ages (adults too!), are invited to "Learn to Row."  This event, sponsored by St. Ignatius, is a great opportunity to learn a new sport and have a great experience.  The flyer is below.  If interested, please let Ms. Jacqui Lee-Ivey or myself know this week.  If there is enough interest, we will engage the church van.

On Saturday, August 16, our young people will visit South Euclid UCC (formerly Euclid Avenue CC) at their new home for a Back to School Blast.  There is no cost to attend, but please let me know if you plan to attend. 

I also want to remind you of the parent prayer call on Wednesday mornings at 9am.   If you can't make it, please feel free to share your concerns with me and know that I am praying for your family!
