Playing With & For The Community

CD-Weaving Workshop @ Bishan Library

Over the last weekend, SCYA held a CD-weaving workshop at Bishan Library from 2.00pm to 5.00pm.

This workshop uses Compact Discs to make art. Participants are given a disc and some coloured wool to learn some weaving patterns that are easy to learn and do. The result of the programme is put up as an art installation that will be decorated colourfully with rows of decorated discs.

The theme of the installation is ‘Colours of the Rainbow’.

(26th & 27th July 2014)

Busy, busy~ There are so many people attending our workshop with no time to rest!

All in all, it was a really interaction workshop, with all the satisfied faces of the public when they proudly present their finished work. We really hope to do something similar again in the future!
