Bill Downing was struck down by a blood clot. He worked tirelessly for five days with the Boston Freedom Rally, refusing to seek care lest the celebration falter without his guiding hand. Only after the last tent was packed away, and everyone had gone home, did he seek care. Now he is struggling in the ICU of Tufts Medical Center.
He has given his all for us, caring for those of us sick and in pain, fighting for the rights of Cannabis Patients and adult use tirelessly for decades, leading us through the struggles and legislative hearings and the protests until we arrived at legalization in Massachusetts.
Now he needs us to give back. Lend a hand and donate what you can. His medical bills will be steep and the road back to health will be a long one.
