Cool and Workers – Parisian Co-Working Space

The newest of co-working spaces in Paris just opened its doors. The founders are a lovely pair of world travelers, social and digital fiends with a flair for design : Jennifer and Nicolas Sebag. Oh and they are married. They call Cool and Workers their fourth child, and a fast growing one it is! Thanks to it’s simple, attractive offer and their light, airy and beautiful space to work in, independents and small companies are flocking here to find a place for working and connecting with other like-minded workers.

Cool and Workers : 30 – 34 rue du Chemin Vert 75011, Paris, France.

What attracted me to find out more about their co-working space was the true sense of openness, absolutely anyone can come and work for a few hours, a few days or longer with their easy-to-use formulas for people from all sorts of businesses. Anyone from bloggers, to the self-employed, to free-lance, start-ups and organizations can find exceptional work space solutions at their gorgeous facility in the newly evolving sweatshop district of the 11th arrondissment. It’s relieving to see young and trendy establishments moving to this area that used to only house cheap garment fabrication facilities.

Jennifer and Nicolas gave me a grand tour of their creation, of which they are very proud. They have an attachment to it when they describe their project, that reminds me of smiley-eyed parents talking about their newborn. Like I said, their fourth child! It is therefor beautifully obvious their dedication to Cool and Workers and their enthusiasm about its growth.

The Corner, is the cozy bar area where you can get specialties imported from Café Lomi, Rachel’s Cakes and L’Autre Thé Paris among other local foodie delights. It’s a great place to take a break from your work to be social with other Residents or Nomads. This is where to co-working begins, and Nicolas and Jennifer know this well. There is nothing more natural than friendly networking over a cup of tea and a tasty pastry!

New partnerships are in the works to include beauty rendez-vous…which will add a lovely feminine touch to this already very inviting place. It’s a very “Prête-Moi Paris” establishment, in so much as it is organised, aesthetically pleasing, collaborative, PARISIAN! and innovative. The perfect balance.

And if you become a Cool and Workers Nomad or Resident, do let me know in the comments what your experience is like.
