For 22 years, Philip Nelson has offered physical sanctuary and refugee for hundreds of abandoned dogs and cats without any government funding and relying solely on donations from the public and street collection. With the help of hundreds of volunteers that found out about that place through workaway.info he has been giving all of his life to the animals.
On Wednesday the 22nd of March, the courts gave Phil 5 days to remove all animals and structures from the land that he has been living on - with no other place to go. If Phil will not find another place to stay, all the animals will be killed.
In this dramatic situation, we are imploring that the municipality and all relevant authorities take their responsibilities seriously and to provide the sanctuary with land to rent.

If we do not react as a community and express our humanity then we will all be accomplices to the massacre that will come to the 88 dogs and numerous cats who Phil and the volunteers look after.

We are asking for your help. We need as much signatures as possible to tell the government that this executive order is not right.

Durante 22 años, Philip Nelson ha ofrecido santuario físico y refugio para cientos de perros y gatos abandonados sin ningún tipo de financiación gubernamental, dependiendo únicamente de donaciones del público y de la colección en la calle. El lunes 22 de marzo, los tribunales le dieron a Phil 5 días para quitar todos los animales y estructuras de la tierra en la que vivía - sin otro lugar adonde irse. Si Phil no encuentra otro lugar para quedarse, todos los animales serán asesinados.
