Claudia Schiffer Launches Haircare

CLAUDIA SCHIFFER, she of almost impossibly glossy golden hair, is launching her own haircare line with Schwarzkopf. Essence Ultime comprises shampoos, conditioners, masks, oils and balms each catered towards one of four key concerns - volume, colour protection, shine and repair - as well as a range of dyes including Schiffer's own shimmering shade. After all, who wouldn't take hair advice from the model renowned in the fashion industry for having the most enviable mane of all? In Vogue 's February 2014 issue, Schiffer talks through her Vogue hair history - from the up-do on her first cover to a back-combed, rock 'n' roll style for an April 2009 shoot by Patrick Demarchelier. And it's this extensive modelling experience that she has used to inform the new range - as she explains to Vogue beauty and health director Nicola Moulton, she has ensured that the products condition whilst leaving hair with just the right amount of texture for styling.
