Craven Arts Council & Gallery ROY G BIV is an exhibition by Craven Arts Council & Gallery showcasing the use of color. Each artist will receive a 12”x12” cradled board and draw a random color. Each work will utilize hues, shades, tints and tones of that color as the primary palate for the work. Each panel in the Main Gallery at Bank of the Arts will be filled with works featuring that color, creating a rainbow that moves across the gallery. 20 cash prizes and sales opportunity. Limited spaces.

Artist Call: SEEK Raleigh SEEK Raleigh is an experimental public art program by Raleigh Arts. Projects should engage with the community in City of Raleigh parks, greenways, and/or community spaces.
- Propose a public art project that you would like to create. Artists may submit up to (4) four proposals per year.
The city will provide space and funding.
- The project budget can range from $1,000 to $10,000.
- Apply by April 30, 2024, to be included in the next review. SEEK Raleigh accepts applications year-round. Typically, applications are reviewed every six months in the Fall and Spring
- The artist selection panel will select semi-finalists to create a detailed project proposal and budget. Semi-finalists will be paid $100 to create the proposal.
- The artist selection panel will choose the final proposals based on the feasibility of the proposed project, and artistic merit, including: cultural integrity; sensory experience; resourcefulness; site activation potential.

Sista Creatives Rising Sista Creatives Rising (SCR) is a project founded by Black, invisibly disabled mother-daughter duo Claire Jones and Amaranthia Sepia. Seven chosen artists of any medium/genre based in the US and Canada will receive a $200 microgrant. Artists must submit 2 minute videos about how funds will help. Funds can be used to help pay for expenses hindering their artistic process, or can be used directly for their art projects. We encourage disabled artists to apply.

North Carolina Literary Review The North Carolina Literary Review is accepting submissions for the 2024 James Applewhite Poetry Prize competition, with final judge Jessica Jacobs. The author of the winning poem receives $250 and publication in next year’s print NCLR. Select finalists will also be published in NCLR issues.
