Our second community outreach event in partnership with Tara Stermer's
Stepped In program happens this Saturday, Feb. 18th! The program focuses on teaching dog safety & free obedience training for communities with loose or stray dogs.
The first session we held was a big hit & we had a great turn out! Tara taught dog owners how to interact with their dogs using agility equipment. In between the fun, she provided valuable information on how to stay safe while out in your neighborhood should you encounter a loose dog.
Wags brought leashes, collars, crates, & dog food for the families & spoke to folks about our spay & neuter service. Many people took crates after learning the benefits of crate training their pet! We expect to have an even larger turnout this Saturday!
Great news everyone! Wags is officially moved to our new home in Bastrop! We had a wonderful volunteer turnout & were overwhelmed by the show of support from you all! Thank you thank you thank you!
Saturday was spent moving items from the old property to our new home (check out this pic of our doggie playscape packed up and ready to move!) & Sunday we spent organizing supplies & making repairs. We are super excited to begin intake at the new property & anticipate being ready in the next couple of weeks! Stay tuned!
