A Dragon's Treasure & Giveaway!!!

Today I'm introducing a wonderful author who I've meet on a few different occasions. Beverly Ovalle is such an upbeat and lovely lady that I had to stop and interview her. Plus, her books are steamy good! At the end there is a giveaway so keep reading.

Nicolette: Welcome, Beverly. From your bio, I see you’ve been reading romances since fourth grade. I believe that’s around the time I found them at my grandma’s house. What made you fall in love with them?

Beverly: I was a total tomboy, but ended up needing glasses in the fourth grade. After I broke multiple pairs, my parents decided I needed a new hobby! My aunt brought me bags of books and gothic romance hooked me. It was exciting and my parents were happy my glasses stayed intact.

Nicolette: Your characters range from dragons to cowboys and quite a few in between. What is your favorite hero to write?

Beverly: I have to say my dragons! I am addicted, lol. For years I had Chinese Dragons until they passed last year. My dining room lintels are decorated with dragon figurines and my candle stick holders for the table are also dragons. My son says it makes me easy to buy for!

Nicolette: Is there a side character that you love that might be featured in their own story?

Beverly: Kai's brother and Connie's cousin and her mates will probably have their own books. I've had requests to do Connie's cousin and her werewolf mate from almost everyone that has talked to me after reading A Dragon's Treasure.

Nicolette: I’m currently reading A Dragon’s Treasure. What was your inspiration for the story?

Beverly: A Dragon's Treasure was a total rewrite! I had intended on doing a sequel to another story I had written, but it didn't flow. So I changed virtually everything! It took on a life of it's own. The town in the story is based on my home town, down to the street names,
lol. It helped me to actually visualize where they traveled.

Nicolette: Does your husband read your books?

Beverly: Good heavens no! I don't have pictures in them and he likes to read true crime, not fiction.

Nicolette: What are you working on now?

Beverly: I'm playing around with two different paranormal romances and a western. And a children's book I've been messing with for about two years! Time will see which one I finish first.

Nicolette: Where can readers find you?

Beverly: I can be found all over the place. Here are the ones I am constantly on:

A Dragon's Treasure

Kai has been hunting for his mate for a very long time. Drawn to a singular place on earth, filled with treasures, he still seeks the greatest treasure of them all. His mate. Fleeing danger, Connie runs into the arms of destiny, but she has plans already, and a Dragon mate is not on the agenda. Kai has waited centuries for Connie, and he will claim his mate. Patience may not be a Dragon’s virtue, but he always gets his treasure. Sparks fly in this humorous erotic tale of mating and mayhem.

Thank you to Beverly for the interview. And good luck those who enter the giveaway! See you next time.
