Former Chelsea defender Alex Davey is set to sign for National League club Woking.

The 22-year-old has been on trial with Cheltenham Town, appearing in their 5-1 reserve team win over Bristol Rovers last week, but he will not be signing for the Robins.

Davey, who joined Chelsea at the age of 10, has previous loan experience with Scunthorpe United, Peterborough United and Crawley Town, as well as a spell with Norwegian club Stabæk.

The Scotland Under-19 international was released by the Premier League champions in the summer.
