SCOUTING THE AGGIES
- Cameron has dropped five of its last seven games after splitting a twin bill with Midwestern State Friday night in Wichita Falls.
- The Aggies are currently fifth in the Lone Star Conference standings one game behind Midwestern State and three games ahead of 6th-place Tarleton State.
- Cameron had scored three runs with 13 hits over its three previous games before erupting for nine runs on 15 hits in a 9-3 win at Midwestern State its last time out.
- Freshman catcher Paige Daino slugged two homers against the Mustangs while driving in three runs, while junior outfielder Tara Martini also drilled a three-run bomb in the 9-3 win.
- Martini leads the Aggies' attack hitting .396 with 15 doubles, nine homers and 53 RBIs. She has also stolen 16 bases.
- Junior outfielder Misty Dooley (.366, 5 2B, 13 SB), sophomore catcher/outfielder Makenzie Burk (.356, 17 SB), freshman outfielder Breezy McComas (.322, 7 2B, 3 3B, 8 HR, 29 RBI), sophomore shortstop Carly Allerheiligen (.317) and sophomore second baseman Macy McKay (.312, 7 SB) give the Aggies a depth of six hitters batting better than .300.
- Junior Kelsey Watson leads Cameron in the circle with a 14-8 records and a 3.18 ERA. Watson limited MSU to three earned runs on seven in seven innings Friday in Wichita Falls.

- Six different players launched home runs for MSU last week against Central Oklahoma and Cameron to up the Mustangs' team total to 65 this season -- second only to West Texas A&M (66) in the LSC. The total is the second most in program history as only the 2013 squad hit more -- 86.

Kelley Schaefer hit her eighth homer of the season Friday against Cameron. It was the 25th of her career.

- The Mustangs rank third in NCAA Division II in home runs per game (1.48), 12th in slugging percentage (.534), 22nd in scoring (6.57) and 69th in batting average (.310).
- Senior catcher
Kim Jerrick ranks 19th in home runs (13.0), 17th in runs per game (1.19), 19th in walks per game (0.69), 27th in home runs per game (0.31), 56th in on-base percentage (.506), 66th in slugging percentage (.721) and 77th in stolen bases (0.45).
- Junior shortstop
Katy Vandewater is 47th in home runs (10) and 92nd in home runs per game (0.23).
- Sophomore outfielder

MILESTONES
- Senior catcher
Kim Jerrick (53 home runs) needs four homers to overtake former West Texas A&M standout Kim LeComte for the Lone Star Conference's all-time lead in home runs. LeComte hit 56 homers from 2009-12.
- Sophomore outfielder
Katelyn Vinson launched her 29th and 30th career homers Tuesday at Central Oklahoma and now stands alone in second place on the school's all-time home list. She moved past Mallory Mooney (2009-12) and Rachael Jackson (2004-06), who both connected on 28 bombs.
- Vinson drove in 100th RBI Tuesday at Central Oklahoma and now has 103 and is already ninth on the MSU's all-time RBI list.
- Jerrick needs two stolen bases to become just the third player in MSU history to swipe 50 bases in a career.
Elena Bennett had 124 from 2010-13 and Nicki Duff stole 50 from 2009-12.

MSU UNDER BRADY TIGERT
Brady Tigert is in his 11th season at the helm at Midwestern State and is the program's lone head coach since it was resurrected in 2004. The Mustangs have averaged just over 40 wins a year under Tigert, who boasts a 426-199 (.682) record which includes NCAA Division II postseason trips in eight of 10 seasons. MSU finished as national semifinalists in 2011, claimed two regional titles (2010, 2011) and two Lone Star Conference championships (2006, 2007).
