Empowerment Through Connection volunteers help us keep doing what we envision.
Volunteers can help with feeding, cleaning stalls and grooming.
An essential aspect of volunteering is ensuring the property is clean. This includes picking up manure from the pastures, cleaning stalls, pulling weeds and removing small rocks that cause foot bruises on the horses. Volunteers also help out at fundraising events by setting up, working during and/or cleaning up.
Volunteers are encouraged to socialize and bond with the horses.
Volunteering with ETC is work, but peaceful, fun and very rewarding!
ETC does not offer a riding program. Horses in sanctuary are equine facilitative learning and coaching partners in workshops.
