PONTIAC, Ill. – The Pontiac Police Department released dash cam video of the EF2 tornado that hit the town Wednesday night.
An officer was driving on Deerfield Road at 8:18pm when he drove upon the tornado.
You can see some explosions and sparks fly in front of the car.
The police officer was not hurt, however four people in Pontiac were injured in the storm.
There were no deaths.
At least nine tornadoes touched down in Illinois Wednesday night.
