Police have charged a man following investigations into an alleged armed robbery at Hope Island on Sunday.
Police will allege the man entered a service station on Broadwater Avenue around 3.20am, took a drink from the fridge and then produced a fire arm.
An 18-year-old Thornlands man has been charged with armed robbery and is due to appear in the Southport Magistrates Court tomorrow.
