Update: Search for missing man, Notch Point

A search to locate a man missing in an area around the Yarrawonga Park Reserve is continuing today.

As of this morning, three vessels are in the water searching estuaries and coastline nearby.

Low tide is expected around 2.30pm, and officers from the Department of Environment and Heritage Protection are assisting police.

Police divers will also join the search.

It is believed a 69-year-old Carmilla man launched his boat at 4pm on December 16 and has not returned since.

His vehicle remained parked where he launched the boat and police hold concerns for his safety.

His fishing boat was located on West Hill Island, two kilometres from the boat ramp.

Police are urging anyone, particularly vessels around West Hill, Green Hill and Cape Palmerston who may have any information that may assist in the search to contact them immediately.
