Nayomi Sanctuary Resort: A Relaxing Glamping Experience in Batangas
Discover this little paradise.
(SPOT.ph) We all love the idea of breathing fresh air and being surrounded by greenery. But camping? Maybe not so much. The thought of crawly things, communal toilets, and sleeping bags just makes some people cringe…no matter how much they want to be one with nature.
Fortunately, there’s glamping and we’ve found just the place, just about an hour away from the Metro.
Located in Balete, Batangas, Nayomi Sanctuary Resort is perfect for busy city-dwellers who are looking for a quick vacation where they can simply disconnect, relax, and commune with nature. It started out as a family rest house before it was developed into a resort with well-designed villas.
“We really started with our humble kubos for family use but later on we decided to open it for everyone. We built villas and then my kids told me that maybe we should also add glamping to let the guests experience something unique. I didn’t know what it was so I did my research, found the best samples, and started building it here in the resort,” said its chairman, Dondie Prats.
Think good food, fresh fruit shakes, and plenty of nature with a view of Taal Lake to wake up to every morning.
The tents are surrounded by trees
Your own unobstructed view of nature
The tents are made of cotton canvas for camping with ease, comfort, and style. Each of them is raised off the ground and sits on their own expansive decks made of pine wood. It also comes with your own spacious lounge area where you can chill with friends, as well as a clean bathroom that you won’t have to share with other campers.
Hip vibe inside the tent
Depending on your needs, some tents have three beds, while others have four.
Inside, it’s pretty basic with a mix of traditional camping elements and a contemporary vibe. It has comfortable beds and two big fans (they’re planning to add an air conditioner soon especially during summer but it’s already breezy at night). It’s very stylish and it even looks so dreamy with the lights on during night time.
It’s well-lit at night, and your bathroom is just next to your tent.
Currently, there are five tents—two that can accommodate eight guests (for around P10,000 with P1,000 additional for up to two extra persons) and three tents that can accommodate six guests (for around P8,000 with P1,000 additional for up to two extra persons). This already includes a delicious free breakfast of your choice: longganisa, corned beef, daing na bangus, or tocino with rice and egg.

There are also other things that you can do in the resort. Nayomi has two beautiful pools where you can lounge and try water sports like the Banana Boat, Wakeboarding, Fly Fish, and a tour of Taal Volcano. They’re also building a small amphitheater which is the perfect venue for open-air events.
