Attempted murder charge, Brisbane

A 36-year-old man has been charged with a number of offences including attempted murder following investigations into an incident in Upper Roma Street on Sunday.
Police were called to a unit complex in Upper Roma Street where a man was found with serious injuries having allegedly fallen from a high rise balcony.
Detectives from the Brisbane City Criminal Investigation Branch conducted investigations into the incident and arrested a 36-year-old Mango Hill man today.
The man has been charged with one count each of attempted murder, kidnapping, and grievous bodily harm, two counts of burglary and four counts of deprivation of liberty.
The man is due to appear in the Brisbane Magistrates court tomorrow.
