The 2014 San Diego Comic-Con is just a week away, and all the nerds and geeks at heart are getting ready to come and play, not excluding myself, of course. After months of anticipation, of swimming in rumors of what’s going to be there, the official program is finally out! And of course, I’ve unregrettably spent a whole weekend combing through it to find all the good stuff.

Keep Calm and Science!

I don’t know about you guys, but I think science is the bee’s knees. And the fact that it’s the 45th Anniversary of the moon landing and NASA has a panel makes me kind of giddy. On Thursday, July 24 at 3:00 PM, Seth Green’s hosting NASA’s Next Giant Leap with astronauts’ Buzz Aldrin, Mike Fincke, and other scientists, to talk about NASA’s future plans. I’m hoping, of course, that they’ll talk about The Europa Clipper. If you love Astronomy and you haven’t heard of it, shame on you. NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL) is currently studying a mission to send a spacecraft in orbit around Jupiter to investigate one of its icy moons, Europa, for the possibility of life! The truth is out there, my friends!

Fandoms Unite!

Ah, yes. I may not be a Destiel shipper (and if you are, that’s cool too) but I’m a big fan of the television show Supernatural. I’m already anticipating the long line at Hall H on Sunday, July 27 at 10:00 AM to see their panel Supernatural Special Video Presentation and Q&A. I mean, even if you don’t like the show, you’ll appreciate the great chemistry and the wonderful bromance amongst the cast: Jared Padalecki, Jensen Ackles, Misha Collins, and Mark A. Sheppard. These guys are goofy and great to watch together. I would be lying if I said I didn’t squeal like a 14-year old girl when I was scrolling through all the events.
