Central Ohio EventsThere are plenty of reasons to look forward to autumn in Central Ohio! Among them are the numerous community events taking place around the area. Enjoy the cooler weather and changing leaves as you explore festivals throughout Metro Columbus. We’ve put together a few suggestions for you!

Sept 3-5: Canal Winchester Labor Day Festival: Celebrate the Labor Day Weekend with 3 days of great music, food, games and rides for the kids, boat races and a car show. The Labor Day parade steps off from Canal Winchester High School at 1:00 p.m. on Monday.

Sept 3 – Oct 23: Ohio Renaissance Festival: Revel in a re-created 16th-Century English village. See exciting live performances, such as jousting, swordsmanship, comedy, music and more. Browse the wares of over 140 artisans and feast on delicious food and drink. Getting there from Columbus: I-71 South to Exit 45 (Waynesville), then 2 miles west on State Route 73.

Sept 5: Upper Arlington Labor Day Arts Festival: This popular art festival includes more than 200 participating artists, with unique creations in a variety of mediums. Enjoy interactive performances and activities, along with a selection food and refreshments.

Sept 9-11: Hot Times Community Arts & Music Festival: This lively Columbus street fair features beautiful arts and crafts, vintage clothing, antiques, rare treasures, art cars, live music and delicious food.

Sept 10: Old Hilliardfest Art & Street Fair: Hilliard’s big day of fun! Enjoy arts and crafts, a car show, a sunflower show, live music, carnival rides and games, and delicious food.

Sept 14: Slice of Columbus: Great pizza for a great cause! The Columbus Commons hosts Central Ohio’s largest pizza event, featuring pizza from local shops, and a best pizza competition. Activities for the kids and live music throughout the day. Proceeds benefit Nationwide Children’s Hospital.

Sept 16-18: Country Living Fair: Country Living Magazine comes to life at Ohio Village in Columbus, with informative seminars and demonstrations to help you beautify your home. Shop vintage and handmade items, enjoy delicious food, and meet the magazine editors.

Sept 25: New Albany Classic: Thrill to equestrian feats at the Invitational Grand Prix. Family Day event includes live music, children’s activities, carnival rides and a petting zoo.

Sept 23-25: Columbus Oktoberfest: Historic pavilions provide the setting for this spirited festival at the Ohio Expo Center. Enjoy two stages of live music, great food and beer, arts and crafts, and a merchant market.

Sept 24: Old Worthington Market Day: Downtown Worthington hosts over 250 exhibitors and artists featuring one-of-a-kind items. Explore booths by community partners, local businesses and civic organizations, and enjoy a variety of food from local restaurants.
