Saturday's home game will mark the second anniversary of the launch of the enormously successful 12th Man scheme.

And in a fitting way to mark the occasion, the scheme is closing in on £20,000 raised, of which every penny is being spent on providing additional playing budget for the Dulwich Hamlet team.

The money has been raised through a combination of regular donations by standing orders, cash donations into the "12th Man Bucket" on matchday, and a series of special events and competitions. The 12th Man Team are celebrating their second birthday this Saturday at Champion Hill, and will be organising a special raffle with some fantastic prizes.

Raffle tickets will be 50p each, and the main prizes on offer include:

  • A unique "peach and blue" replica home shirt created when new kit designs were being considered. Only one shirt in this style/colour exists! It has a number 10 printed on the back and was modelled by Hamlet legend Erhun Oztumer when the kit was being selected.
  • A pre-season matchday programme from 2013/14 signed by Hamlet manager Gavin Rose and then Crystal Palace manager Ian Holloway.
  • A football signed by the Dulwich Hamlet squad.
  • A number of prints of the Hamlet team and some of individual players.

There will also be a number of smaller prizes including bottles of wine and boxes of chocolates. If you are able to donate a prize for the raffle, please let us know by e-mailing dhfc12@hotmail.com, and bring the prize down to the 12th Man table before the game on Saturday.

Make sure you drop by the 12th Man stand on Saturday to say hello and join in the birthday celebrations!
